Fraudulent emails impersonating Peak Money may occasionally appear in your inbox in an attempt to steal account credentials or personal information. Knowing how to identify legitimate Peak Money emails can help you keep your account safe.

Phishing is when someone pretends to be Peak Money in order to steal your information. Phishing messages may ask you to click a link, sign in, connect a wallet, or share account details.

  • Text messages (SMS)

Official Peak Money Email Addresses

Peak Money will only contact you from the following two email addresses:

What to Do If You Receive a Suspicious Email

If you think a message may be a phishing attempt, take the following steps:

  1. Do not click any links in the email
  2. Do not reply to the email
  3. Do not share any account information
  4. Forward the suspicious email to phishingreport@meetdapper.com so the Peak Money security team can investigate and take action to protect other users

What to Do If You Already Clicked a Link or Shared Information

If you may have interacted with a phishing message, act quickly to protect your Peak Money account. Phishing attacks can result in irreversible loss of funds, so speed is critical.

  1. Change your Peak Money password immediately
  2. If you shared a private key and have an external key added in Advanced Settings, revoke that key immediately
  3. Contact Peak Money support as soon as possible at info@peak.money

Remember that you are responsible for the security of your Peak Money account. Peak Money support cannot recover funds lost as a result of a phishing attack.
