When you deposit into a Peak Money yield strategy, your Strategy Balance earns yield automatically over time. This article explains how to read your strategy page, where that yield comes from, how your Strategy Balance is calculated, and how the yield rate works.Understanding Your Strategy PageYour strategy page displays several figures that give you a full picture of your position. Here is what each one means: Term Definition Strategy Balance Your assets currently earning interest. This is the current value of your shares in the vault. Available to Invest Your Peak Money wallet funds that are not yet in this strategy. These assets are available to deposit into the strategy whenever you choose. Estimated Balance A projection of what your Strategy Balance could reach two years from today, based on your current balance and Projected Rate. This is an estimate, not a guarantee. All Time Earnings Everything you have earned since you started earning in this strategy. 1-year Estimate The estimated earnings you will receive over the next 12 months, based on your current Strategy Balance and Projected Rate. Projected Rate The projected APY (Annual Percentage Yield) range for your staked assets. This rate is expressed as a range to reflect that DeFi (Decentralized Finance) rates fluctuate with market conditions. Chart The bar chart shows your projected future Strategy Balance month by month over the next two years. The estimated growth is based on your current balance and Projected Rate. Where Yield Comes FromThe yield you earn comes from real lending activity. As a depositor, you are purchasing shares in a yield-generating strategy, where borrowers pay interest to borrow against their crypto collateral. That interest, minus a small protocol fee, goes directly to you.Receiving Yield AutomaticallyYou do not need to take any action to receive yield. Yield accrues automatically and continuously in the background. There is no claim button, no compounding step, and no schedule to follow. Your Strategy Balance updates on its own as yield is earned. How Your Strategy Balance Is CalculatedPeak Money does not display a share count. Instead, Peak Money normalizes your holdings into a token balance to keep things simple and easy to read. As your shares earn yield, the value of each share changes, and your Strategy Balance updates to reflect that. The Strategy Balance you see is the current value of your shares in the vault, not just your original deposit amount. How the Yield Rate WorksPeak Money's APY adjusts based on market conditions and the yield sources powering your strategy. Your current Projected Rate is always visible on your strategy page. For a full breakdown of how rate variability and other factors are managed, see What Are the Actual Risks.Frequently Asked QuestionsIs yield paid out daily, weekly, or monthly?Yield on a Peak Money yield strategy accrues continuously rather than on a fixed schedule.
