How to Withdraw Cryptocurrency via Flow Blockchain

You can withdraw cryptocurrency tokens (FLOW or PYUSD) from your Peak Money account to an external Flow wallet at any time. The withdrawal process requires you to provide a valid Flow Cadence address and specify the amount you want to transfer.

Before You Withdraw

Important network requirement: Peak Money currently supports cryptocurrency withdrawals only on the Flow Network. Your recipient address must be a Flow Cadence address (a 16-character hexadecimal address). EVM address bridging is not yet implemented. If you send cryptocurrency to an address on another blockchain network, your funds will be permanently lost and cannot be recovered.

Steps to Withdraw Cryptocurrency

Follow these steps to withdraw FLOW or PYUSD tokens from your Peak Money account:

  1. Navigate to your Portfolio Balance section in the Peak Money app
  2. Click the "Withdrawal" button to initiate a withdrawal
  3. Select the cryptocurrency you want to withdraw (FLOW or PYUSD) from the asset dropdown menu
  4. Paste your Flow Cadence wallet address into the recipient address field (this address must be exactly 16 hexadecimal characters)
  5. Enter the withdrawal amount you want to send, or click "Max" to withdraw your entire available FLOW balance
  6. Click "Submit" to confirm and process your FLOW withdrawal

What Is a Flow Cadence Address?

A Flow Cadence address is the native address format used on the Flow blockchain. Flow Cadence addresses are always exactly 16 hexadecimal characters long (using numbers 0-9 and letters a-f). This address format is different from EVM-compatible addresses used on networks like Ethereum.

Example of valid Flow Cadence address format: 0x1234567890abcdef

You can find your Flow Cadence address in Flow-native wallets such as Flow Wallet (https://wallet.flow.com/). For a complete list of Flow-compatible wallets, visit https://developers.flow.com/ecosystem/wallets.

Withdrawal Network Restrictions

Peak Money only processes cryptocurrency withdrawals on the Flow Network. This means:

  • Your recipient wallet must support the Flow Network
  • Your recipient address must be a Flow Cadence address (16 hexadecimal characters)
  • EVM-compatible addresses (such as Ethereum-style addresses starting with "0x" followed by 40 characters) are not currently supported
  • Sending cryptocurrency to an address on another blockchain network will result in permanent loss of your fundsf your funds

Always verify that your recipient address is a valid Flow Cadence address before submitting your withdrawal. Peak Money cannot recover funds sent to incorrect addresses or addresses on unsupported networks.
